Gouverneur, N.Y – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik hosted her 18th and 19th Coffee with your Congresswoman forums at Savory Downtown in Watertown and the Gouverneur Community Center in Gouverneur. These were open, public forums attended by approximately 80 constituents. Congresswoman Stefanik took over 45 questions for 3 and a half hours on a wide range of issues important to the North Country, including military families, Russian interference in our elections, health care, climate change, tariffs, small businesses, second amendment rights, Fort Drum, and bipartisanship in Congress. Additionally, Congresswoman Stefanik has attended and hosted over 950 in district constituent outreach events.

“I’m thankful to the constituents who came to Watertown and Gouverneur for substantive conversations about the issues important to our community,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I also want to thank Chairman of the Watertown County Board Scott Gray and Gouverneur Town Supervisor David Spillman Jr. for moderating our discussions. I have now hosted 19 Coffees with your Congresswoman and am proud of my record as an open and accessible Representative of New York’s 21st District. I’m honored to serve each of the constituents I spoke with today in Congress, and am looking forward to hearing from more of them tomorrow in Plattsburgh and Schuylerville.”
