Washington, D.C. – Last night, Congresswoman Elise was selected by Leader McCarthy to serve on the bipartisan, bicameral House-Senate conference committee charged with resolving the differences and ensuring passage of the FY2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA.) This is her fifth consecutive year chosen as a conferee.

“I’m grateful to be selected as a conferee to work on the National Defense Authorization Act for the fifth year in a row,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “During this critical time in our national security, I am honored to continue to push for an East Coast Missile Defense Site to protect the homeland and continue to fight for the Fort Drum Community to provide the tools they need to successfully rapidly deploy to protect our values and freedom. I am grateful for the sacrifices of the men, women and families who serve and will continue to push for legislation that better supports our military families. I look forward to working with my colleagues to conference a more bipartisan bill and to ensure passage of this critical national security legislation on behalf of my district and the entire country.”
