Saratoga, N.Y. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced a Department of Health and Human Services $1,524,952 has been awarded to Warren County Head Start, Inc. This award will support Head Start projects in the greater Glens Falls and Warren County community. The Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education and development services to promote school readiness for low-income children. Federal grants are awarded directly to public agencies, private nonprofit and for-profit organizations, tribal governments, and school systems for operating Head Start programs in local communities.
“I am excited to announce this significant grant for Warren County Head Start, a very important program in our community,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “The Head Start program is crucial for early childhood development and it is crucial that we continue to provide resources to support them. I look forward to seeing tax dollars be returned to the district and making a positive impact, and I will continue to advocate for these programs at the federal level, as I do each year.”
