Washington, D.C.  – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced a total of $17,325,761 in FAA Airport Improvement funding for Plattsburgh International Airport and the Saratoga County Airport. $13,583,273 will be awarded to the Plattsburgh International Airport to reconstruct and rehabilitate a runway, and $472,488 will be awarded to the Saratoga County Airport to install perimeter fencing.

“Our North Country airports are a major source of revenue and boost tourism within the district,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I am proud to announce that significant tax dollars will be returned back into the area to help our local airports complete essential projects. I look forward to witnessing the positive impact of this funding, and I will continue to advocate for programs to support our local and regional airports.”
