Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced Lewis County will be eligible for federal assistance to support flood damage recovery from Tropical Storm Fred.
“Lewis County is now eligible for federal support to assist with the magnitude of the damage caused by Tropical Storm Fred,” Stefanik said. “I am proud to advocate for Lewis County, and I will continue to work with my colleagues to ensure our state receives the necessary funding in order to recover.”
On September 20, Stefanik joined her colleagues in requesting approval of a Major Disaster Declaration request for New York communities impacted by Fred this August.
