Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced a $443,330 award for Clarkson University’s Cancer Detection and Diagnosis Research program from the National Institute of Health’s National Cancer Institute.
“Clarkson University is conducting impressive research on issues that impact so many Americans,” Stefanik said. “As these taxpayer dollars are returned to our district to continue this research, I look forward to witnessing the impact on detecting breast cancer earlier.”
This grant will help Clarkson University’s research on detecting breast cancer in protein signatures from breast milk.
