Washington, DC - Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe will receive two federal grants; $1,500,053 from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to improve low-income housing, and $13,750 from the National Endowment for the Arts to be put towards art and cultural projects. Congresswoman Stefanik issued the following statement:
“The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe is an important part of the North Country, and I am pleased to announce new federal funds that will improve their community and preserve their unique culture."
