Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is awarding AdkAction a Rural Business Development grant totaling $90,825 to provide technical assistance and educational resources for organic material recycling through Compost for Good. This award will create 16 jobs and support an additional job.
“I’m proud to announce over $90,000 of taxpayer money will be returned to the North Country,” Stefanik said. “This Rural Business Development grant will create jobs and support our rural communities while keeping our Adirondacks beautiful. I will continue to advocate for the needs of our community.”
