Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced the Department of Transportation will award the Piseco Airport in Hamilton County a $449,341 grant. This award will be used to rehabilitate the runway and install visual guidance systems for the runway.
“I am proud to announce nearly $500,000 of returned taxpayer dollars to improve the Piseco Airport,” Stefanik said. “This substantial grant will modernize our district’s transportation needs and support North Country tourism. I will continue to advocate for opportunities like this that serve the priorities of our district.”
