Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced a $125,000 grant to combat substance abuse in the North Country from the Department of Health and Human Services.

This award will assist the HFM Prevention Council to advance their mission to prevent and reduce youth substance abuse in Hamilton, Fulton, and Montgomery Counties.

“I’m proud to announce these taxpayer dollars will be returned to our district to keep our community healthy,” Stefanik said. “This important funding will go a long way to combat substance abuse early, protect our youth, and keep the North Country safe.”
