Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced $2,959,435 for Adirondack Community Action Programs, Inc. in Elizabethtown through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Head Start.
“Today, I am announcing that nearly $3 million in taxpayer dollars will be returned to our district to support the Adirondack Community Action Programs’ Head Start program,” Stefanik said. “This significant funding will create educational opportunities for our North Country children and set them up for success by preparing them for the classroom.”
The Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education and development services to promote school readiness for low-income children.
