Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced a $1,543,304 grant to support Warren County’s Head Start Program from the Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families.
“Today, I am announcing over $1.5 million of taxpayer funds will be returned to our district to support the Head Start program of Warren County,” Stefanik said. “Head Start serves many families in Upstate New York and the North Country, and this investment will help it continue its mission of ensuring school readiness.”
The Head Start program provides comprehensive early childhood education and development services to promote school readiness for low-income children.
