Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced that Crandall Public Library, Orleans Public Library, and Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center will receive a total of $45,000 in grants from the National Endowment for Humanities.

“Today, I am announcing $45,000 in taxpayer dollars will return to our district to support the important work of Crandall Public Library, Orleans Public Library, and Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center,” Stefanik said. “New York’s 21st District is home to a rich cultural history, and these grants will help these local institutions recover from the impacts of the pandemic, so they can continue to foster learning and appreciation of this rich history in our North Country communities.”

A breakdown of the funding can be seen below:

  • $10,000 for Crandall Public Library in Warren County
  • $10,000 for Orleans Public Library in Jefferson County
  • $25,000 for Six Nations Iroquois Cultural Center in Franklin County
