Greenwich, New York – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today visited Greenwich High School in Washington County and discussed her work on behalf of farmers and producers in Upstate New York and the North Country with 11th and 12th grade students during their agriculture class.

During her visit, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik presented Betsy Foote, who has been teaching for 34 years, with a Congressional Record to recognize her work teaching the next generation.

“It was a joy to join Greenwich High School’s agriculture class today and hear these students’ enthusiasm for learning more about farming and producing," Stefanik said. "I was proud to answer their questions on my work in Congress on behalf of our dairy farmers, apple growers, maple producers, and local farmers in Upstate New York and the North Country. I am also thankful for the hard work of our New York teachers, especially Ms. Betsy Foote, whose dedication to teaching has prepared the next generation of leaders incredibly well.”
