Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik announced the Department of Transportation is awarding $2,237,273 in grants to Adirondack Regional Airport, Malone-Dufort Airport, and Ticonderoga Municipal Airport.
“Over $2.2 million in taxpayer dollars will be returned to our district to support three of our local airports that provide critical access to convenient travel to and from Upstate New York and the North Country,” Stefanik said. “I look forward to continuing to advocate for our district to be equipped with the resources necessary to meet its transportation needs.”
A breakdown of this funding can be seen here:
- $892,867 for Adirondack Regional Airport to rehabilitate the taxiway
- $496,714 for Malone-Dufort Airport to install a wind cone
- $847,692 for Ticonderoga Municipal Airport to reconstruct the apron and rehabilitate the taxiway
