Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today opposed House Democrats’ unconstitutional gun ban bill:
“I will always stand up for the Constitution and our Second Amendment Rights. Today, I strongly opposed House Democrats’ latest attempt to shred our Constitution with a gun ban. I represent tens of thousands of law-abiding gun owners in my district, and I will continue to oppose and fight back against any attempt at unconstitutional gun control at the state or federal level.”
H.R. 1808 would ban AR-15s and similar semi-automatic rifles, which are among the most popular firearms owned in New York’s 21st Congressional District.
