Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement on the one-year anniversary of the Kabul terrorist attack that took the lives of 13 U.S. service members:
“One year ago today, our hearts were broken as President Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal led to the deadliest terrorist attack on Americans on the ground in a decade, which took the lives of 13 brave service members. We will never forget their courageous service and sacrifice on behalf of our great nation. House Republicans are committed to holding the Biden Administration accountable for this catastrophic withdrawal and ensuring the service of all of our Afghanistan veterans was not in vain.”
