House Passes Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Act
Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) issued the following statement after the House passed H.R. 223 – Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Act of 2016 – bipartisan legislation she cosponsored to reauthorize the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI).
“I am pleased to help the House pass this legislation that is critical to the health of our waters,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “As a Member of the House Invasive Species Caucus, I am continuing to work at the federal level to raise awareness and work towards solutions to protect our natural ecology and our environment.
