Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Stefanik announced the Saratoga County Economic Opportunity Council will receive a $4,548,631 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services for their Head Start Program. In her first 100 days of the 117th Congress, Congresswoman Stefanik has helped return $12,611,329 taxpayer dollars back to the district for local Head Start Programs, which provide critical resources and education for low-income children in the North Country.
“I am pleased to once again announce a significant investment in our North Country children through the Saratoga County Head Start Program. The resources we have delivered for Head Start Programs this year will be imperative in ensuring our students do not fall behind academically, socially, and emotionally due to the impacts of school closures throughout the pandemic,” said Congresswoman Stefanik.
