Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced that the Village of Heuvelton has been awarded a $376,190 Northern Border Regional Commission/Economic Development Administration grant. The funding will be used to decommission an existing wastewater treatment plant and construct a new sewer.
“I am proud to announce that valuable tax dollars will be returned back to the district in the form of this important grant,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “This project will boost business and job retention and create economic development, while also updating valuable infrastructure that will help improve water quality in the area. I will continue to advocate for Northern Border Regional Commission funding that has significant impact on our North Country communities.”
