Plattsburgh, NY – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) commended Joel Wood on his new position as Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) project coordinator for the City of Plattsburgh. Mr. Wood is currently a Constituent Liaison in Congresswoman Stefanik’s Plattsburgh Office and has worked for Congresswoman Stefanik since March of 2015.
“Joel has been an extraordinary asset to my team and I am very excited for his new opportunity,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Families across our district know Joel well as a diligent, kind and dedicated public servant who has helped countless individuals who were struggling with the federal government. While Joel will be missed by our office, I look forward to continuing to work with him to revitalize and improve downtown Plattsburgh.”
Joel Wood, a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh, will begin in his new position on Wednesday, July 5th.
