Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik today announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is awarding Behavioral Health Services North Inc. (BHSN) in Plattsburgh a $4,999,480 grant to support mental health and substance abuse disorder programs in the North Country.
“It is now more important than ever that our local mental health, substance abuse, and rehabilitation centers and programs have the funds and resources they need to keep our community members healthy and safe,” Stefanik said. “I am proud to announce these taxpayer dollars will be returned to our communities to protect and care for our local mental health. I will continue finding ways to deliver solutions for those suffering mentally and emotionally.”
