Glens Falls, NY – Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21) announced that Cheyanne Stunger, a Senior from Argyle Central School, is the winner of the 2018 NY-21 Congressional Art Competition. Her winning charcoal drawing, Trepidation, will be showcased in the U.S. Capitol for an entire year.

“For the next year, Cheyanne’s artwork will be on display at the U.S. Capitol for visitors and dignitaries from around the world to see,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “As a strong advocate for the arts, I look forward to young North Country artists showcasing their artistic vision and creativity in this competition every year. I congratulate Cheyanne and hope she inspires other young artists in our district to pursue the arts and enter their work in next year’s Congressional Art Competition.”
