Washington, D.C. –  Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has announced Ogdensburg International Airport has received over $1.5 million in an Airport Improvement Program (AIP) discretionary grant for efforts to extend the airport’s runway.

“I’m proud to announce this $1.5 million grant for the Ogdensburg International Airport,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “I am a consistent advocate for our rural airports and improved infrastructure. More capabilities for our region’s airports will create jobs and increase tourism – a significant economic driver in the North Country.”

The Department of Transportation has awarded a total of $1,534,000 via an AIP discretionary grant to the Ogdensburg International Airport.
