Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Elise Stefanik joined her colleagues in sending an amicus brief to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Feds for Medical Freedom Et Al. v. Biden Et Al. advocating against the Biden Administration forcing the unconstitutional COVID-19 vaccine mandate on the entire federal workforce.

“I am proud to join this legal challenge against the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional vaccine mandates that threaten the rights of hardworking Americans,” Stefanik said. “I will continue to stand up for our healthcare workers, first responders, servicemembers, and contractors against Joe Biden’s unconstitutional mandates.”

“In this case, the President of the United States claims the awesome—and heretofore unasserted—power to unilaterally compel a broad swath of American workers to undergo a medical procedure. No federal statute confers this claimed authority on the President. To the contrary, Congress has denied it,” the lawmakers wrote.
