Washington, DC – Today, Congresswoman Stefanik announced that MetalCraft Marine US, Inc. in Watertown will receive a $554,237 grant from the Department of Transportation (DOT). Congresswoman Stefanik recently sent a letter to the DOT advocating for MetalCraft Marine to receive this significant funding.
“MetalCraft Marine embodies the American entrepreneurial spirit, building world-renowned boats while giving back to our community by working with Fort Drum and community colleges to expand our local workforce. I am proud to have helped secure this significant grant for MetalCraft Marine, so they may purchase equipment necessary to continue growing their successful operation,” said Congresswoman Stefanik.
MetalCraft Marine has designed and built patrol and workboats since 1987, in a location with boatbuilding history dating back to 1676. Today, they have service centers across the US and Canada.
