"I strongly support the Trump administration in designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. Long overdue. Thank you President Trump for this important and decisive leadership to protect our national security."
Background:
Stefanik cosponsored the Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act, which would take steps to codify the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The bill directs the Secretary of State to take a targeted approach to investigate and designate any arms of the Muslim Brotherhood as Foreign Terrorist Organizations that do not currently carry the designation but should under the law.
