As always, the incredible stories that President Trump shared about the American heroes seated with the First Lady were inspiring. As Co-Chair of the Bipartisan Olympic Caucus and the Representative of Lake Placid where the famed Miracle on Ice took place 46 years ago, my favorite part was honoring the incredible Team USA hockey gold medalists - they are American icons and heroes. America couldn’t be prouder of them. They have continued the extraordinary legacy of the 1980 Miracle team and inspired a nation and a new generation."
