On Kathy Hochul's Sanctuary State Policies:

Elise Stefanik: She signed it three times, Sean, and this is a continuation of the previous governor's executive order designating New York State as a sanctuary state, not allowing our state law enforcement to work with federal law enforcement. She signed it on her first day in office. She signed it again, and she signed as recently as January of this year. She owns the sanctuary state policies, and in that hearing, I pointed out the multiple violent crimes that have been committed against law-abiding New Yorkers by illegals here in New York on U.S. and New York taxpayers' dime because of Kathy Hochul. That includes a rape of a 15-year-old in Albany County, a rape of a five-year-old in Nassau County on Long Island, assaults and beatings of NYPD cops and after the hearing, Sean, most recently, we have this news of an illegal migrant chasing President Trump's U.S. Attorney for the Northern District down the streets of Albany 20 minutes from where I grew up. This is Kathy Hochul's New York, and this is why New Yorkers of all political parties are frustrated and want a governor who puts New Yorkers first.

On New York Polling:

Sean Hannity: Congresswoman, I was of the strong belief that too many people like myself, frankly, just was sick and tired of high taxes, burdensome bureaucracy, unrelenting crime, ridiculous, awful schools and everything in between that I thought there was no way a Republican could win. But we now have polls that have come out that show you neck-and-neck in a head to head race with Kathy Hochul. Is this something you're thinking about?

On Saving New York:

Elise Stefanik: Absolutely, I'm thinking about it. And we're getting encouragement all across the state. And what's important, Sean, is if you look at Kathy Hochul, nearly 60 percent of New Yorkers want to elect someone new. They want a governor that's prioritizing safe streets. They want a governor who's prioritizing affordability. That means lowering taxes and actually making New York a state where small businesses, manufacturers, and farms want to continue to grow, rather than this mass exodus that has happened on Kathy Hochul's watch. And she has no empathy for the crimes that have been committed against New Yorkers, whether it failed bail reform and embracing of defund the police, or whether it's the sanctuary state policies. In that hearing, one of the clips that really resonated was she wasn't even aware that a New Yorker was burned alive by an illegal on the subway in New York City. This is because of Kathy Hochul, so I was just in New York City. I was just on Long Island. I was in Staten Island. I'm in upstate New York right now. There is an outpouring of support, and we're taking a good look at it.

...

Sean, I think about 2024. We saved America by electing President Trump. We need to save New York by firing Kathy Hochul in 2026.
