Saratoga, N.Y. - Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement:
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ weak leadership and inexcusable silence in the face of constant antisemitic attacks on Israel’s right to exist has directly incentivized the Palestinian Authority to try to expel Israel from the UN General Assembly. Should the Palestinian Authority succeed in their antisemitic pursuit, it would result in a complete reassessment of U.S. funding of the United Nations.
American taxpayers have no interest in continuing to fund an organization that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have allowed to rot with antisemitism. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris must immediately and forcefully reject this antisemitic attempt to weaken and isolate Israel. They must take the names of any country supporting this blatantly immoral effort and make clear the position of the United States - the UN’s single largest source of funding.”
