Washington, D.C. - Today, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik voted to pass a resolution she cosponsored to overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) tailpipe emission rule entitled “Multi-Pollutant Emissions Standards for Model Years 2027 and Later Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicles.” This Congressional Review Act (CRA) led by Congressman John James (R-MI) would overturn the Biden-Harris Administration's decision to phase out gas-powered vehicles.
“I was proud to vote for this resolution to overturn the anti-American rule proposed by the Biden-Harris Administration that sets radical emission standards on automakers,” said Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. “House Republicans will not stand idly by while Joe Biden and Kamala Harris try to impose their failed, Far Left anti-American energy policies that would bankrupt American families already struggling to afford their basic needs because of Kamalanomics."
