Washington, D.C.- Congresswoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement applauding the Supreme Court’s unanimous decision in NRA v. Vullo to protect the First Amendment Rights of law-abiding gun owners from New York state officials’ efforts to pressure companies to sever their ties with the NRA.
“The Supreme Court’s unanimous decision in NRA v. Vullo is an overwhelming victory for Americans’ Constitutional rights, defending law-abiding gun owners from Far Left Albany Democrats’ attempts to illegally pressure companies to sever ties with the NRA. I was proud to sign an amicus brief in support of the 2nd Amendment to defend our Constitution.”
In January 2024, Stefanik joined her colleagues in a bicameral amicus brief to the United States to the United State Supreme Court in the case of NRA v. Vullo in support of the NRA.
