"This National Police Week, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and we express our deepest gratitude to those who continue to serve and protect our communities every day in New York.
To the law enforcement officers of Upstate New York, the North Country, and across our great state and the nation: thank you. Your courage, service, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. I will continue to fight for policies that put the safety of our communities first and ensure you have the tools and support needed to do your job.
Our law enforcement officers are the backbone of our safety and security, and it’s our duty to stand by them. While the Far Left continues pushing dangerous anti-police rhetoric and policies, we must ensure that our heroes in uniform have the support, resources, and respect they deserve. Their selfless dedication ensures that law-abiding citizens can live in peace."
