Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik is proud to announce that Janeiah Pagan, a 10th grader from Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School, is the winner of this year’s Congressional Art Competition.
"Janeiah’s stunning watercolor painting, titled 'Skimming the Surface,' captures the graceful motion of a koi fish swimming through a serene pond beneath vibrant lily pads.
“This week, I was proud to call and congratulate Broadalbin-Perth Jr./Sr. High School student Janeiah Pagan for winning this year’s Congressional Art Competition,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. "Her painting exemplifies the creativity, skill, and artistry that are so prevalent in the North Country. We are incredibly proud of her achievement, and I look forward to seeing her work displayed in the U.S. Capitol for all to admire."
